What is ‘future bodies’? For the theme of the pathways project, which I created during my second year of studies at university, I wanted to think about a ‘body’ that was outside of human bodily animation and think of something on a larger scale. What could be larger than the Earth which we all surround ourselves with everyday? The idea is that no matter how futuristic the earth may seem, it comes full circle. We rely on things like bees for fresh produce, wildflowers for wellness, trees for oxygen. How far in the future will this become unattainable?
